This year’s IdeaFestival continues with its presentation of forward-thinking speakers, events and activities. Art speakers include Creative Capital artists Ann Carlson and the Ghana ThinkTank (“Ideas on the Edge”), visual and transmedia artist Lars Jan (in partnership with artwithoutwalls) and Anshu Gupta on “The Trash-Based Economy of the Future,” discussing how used fabric can become an economic resource. Gupta is a 2017 Curry Stone Design Prize honoree.
