Louisville Grows, whose mission is to create a sustainable community through urban agriculture, urban tree planting and environmental education, has a new headquarters. The grand opening of the Louisville Grows’ Healthy House is open to the public and will showcase its “sustainability features including a green roof, car-charging station, rain garden, and eco-friendly plumbing, heating, and cooling.” In addition to the many fascinating features of the Healthy House, the grand opening will include food, live music, raffles, a community art show, games and a ribbon cutting ceremony between 6-7 p.m.
