Gunnar Deatherage is setting up shop in Old Louisville. Deatherage has competed on three seasons of Lifetime’s “Project Runway”; he’s shown his collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week; his designs have graced the runways of Dallas, Austin, Birmingham and Midwest fashion weeks; and now, his creative direction can be seen in the pages of The Voice of Louisville and Modern Louisville magazines. “This studio/storefront is a natural progression in my career as a designer,” said Deatherage. “The city of Louisville is where I found my creative voice, and I am thrilled to establish my fashion roots through this space. I have been designing custom garments privately by appointment, as well as traveling the country with my seasonal collections. Now, I look forward to the accessibility my storefront will bring to a new audience.” The grand opening will feature Deatherage’s latest Fall/Winter collection “Kalliope.” Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and are open to the public.
