To quote the Dr. himself, “Buy the ticket, take the ride.” The 5th annual GonzoFest Louisville promises to be the most Gonzo to date. This unique Louisville celebration of the spirit of Gonzo will celebrate in grand style with live music by Vessel, GRAFFITI the band, 1200, Twin Limb, Thirty Spokes, Them’s Live and Small Time Napoleon. Spoken word and poetry readings by local legendary poet Ron Whitehead and many others. A Gonzo art contest, live art, literary contest, craft vendors, Squallis puppeteers, food by The Monkey’s Uncle Grill and Lil’ Cheezers and the premiere of the GonzoFest Louisville 2014 documentary film. Plus the official unveiling of designs for the future Hunter S. Thompson statue. All of this for only $10. Proceeds from the GonzoFest will go to support the effort to build the bronze statue of Hunter S. Thompson in Louisville as well as support the Gonzo Foundation.
