This is the perfect event for the holiday season. Considering we’re so focused on the people in our lives, the animals in our community might go overlooked. It’s a benefit concert for The Kentucky Humane Society and will feature a performance from the greatest AC/DC tribute band on the planet — Thunderstruck. The group, which tragically suffered the loss of their guitarist Allan “Angus” Wheatley last week, opted not to cancel this show, but rather offer it up as a tribute to their friend (with the help of several notable guitarists who will be filling in). There will also be an auction of rock-related items (concert tickets, autographed items and such), free appetizers and a signature cocktail. In addition to ticket sales and the auction, The Kentucky Humane Society will receive $1 from each signature cocktail sold all night.
