Get Your Motor Running…

There will be more than cars to look at this show, although there will certainly be plenty of those, their owners drawn in by the promise of trophies and prizes. Nick’s Museum of Treasures, usually closed to the public, is open for this event. The exhibits at this Southern Indiana venue are more like what you would find in an antique store: Piles of vintage memorabilia celebrating the area’s history, according to the News and Tribune, including old jail cell doors and keepsakes from institutions like the Sportsdome Speedway (still open) and the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant (shuttered). Food and drink will also be available for purchase — and there’s a DJ!
