The Kentucky Initiative is not the listless, rudderless, old-guard Kentucky Democratic Party. It is a true grassroots organization, born of people fed up with establishment Democrats who don’t represent (or even fight for) progressive values. It is working to retake the Kentucky House of Representatives from the GOP, and doing it with real progressive candidates. Small bites and drinks will be provided. Candidates and legislators are encouraged to join and support this effort.
