Fun In Bernheim Forest

Laser Guided Star Tour
(Saturday, Sept. 8)  |  8:30-10:30 p.m.
Check out the forest and the stars with a guided tour from “Star Captains” Bill Napper and Don Spain, Bernheim’s volunteer naturalists. They’ll be using laser pointers for their intended purpose (not as a cat toy) to help you explore “celestial happenings in the night sky.” For families and children age 8 and older. And, unfortunately, no pets.

Forest Homeschool Hike: The Food Chain
(Wednesday, Sept. 12)  |  1-2 p.m.
For families who homeschool, here is a chance for a field trip. This is for kids from kindergarten to fifth grade, and is $7 per student ($5 for a Bernheim member). Adults must accompany the students (but can join for free).

Through Sept. 12
