Thanks to a donation from Brown-Forman, Sundays at the Speed Art Museum are free. So this November, everyone should take advantage by enjoying a few animated short films from France in the Speed Cinema. See “New Faces of French Animation” on Nov. 6; “Four Animated Shorts from Folimage” on Nov. 13; “Les Gobelins Student Films” on Nov. 20; and “After School (En sortant de l’école)” on Nov. 27. A few of the films are straight-forward animated shorts and a few are compilations, but all of them are worthy of praise and appreciation.
