Free Shelby Park Neighborhood Bike-In

Craving the nostalgic charms of a drive-in without the carbon footprint of burning up your car’s gas? Then Shelby Park’s bike-in is the answer to your environmentalist calls. Cyclists can park their bikes and enjoy a free screening of the insect documentary “Microcosmos.” If bug films aren’t your thing, there will also be live music, food and beer vendors and activities from loads of local organizations. This event is hosted by Louisville Olmsted Parks Conservancy and Hal & Ben’s Bike-in, kicking off the conservancy’s Free Play Series, “where kids of all ages can explore their natural curiosity, love of discovery, enthusiasm and creativity.”
