Yoga in the Park with Yoga Baum (May 18)

Join the recent graduates of Yoga Baum Yoga School for an all-levels class. Bring a yoga mat or a beach towel and $5 for the instructor. Classes will be canceled for inclement weather.

Beargrass Canoe Tour (May 18)

This three-hour tour is led by David Wicks, a retired coordinator of environmental education for Jefferson County Public Schools. Wicks will discuss the beauty and threats to this natural resource right in the heart of our city. Waterproof shoes are suggested. This is a easy-level journey and open to ages 10 and up.

Walk MS Louisville (May 20)

Walk MS seeks to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis. To accommodate varying levels of mobility, participants can choose between a one-, two- or three-mile routes. Site and booths open at 8 a.m., and the walk begins at 10 a.m.

Help raise funds The Arrow Fund of Louisville, which “provides medical treatment to animals who have been victims of extreme torture, abuse or neglect.” Bring your dog, as long as it is leashed. Post-race festivities at Hoops Grill and Sports Bar (6733 Strawberry Lane). Registration begins at 6:30 a.m., and the run begins at 8 a.m.
