For 20 years, the Carnegie Center’s annual contemporary art quilt exhibition is one of the premiere fiber events in the United States. As a result, viewers expect high quality techniques and design (“creative use of stitching” is one of the awards). This year, 28 art quilts were selected from the 341 works submitted. Award winners include Pat Pauly of Rochester, New York, who won “Best in Show.”
