Staff Pick: ‘Five Exceptional Artists Who Happen To Be From Kentucky’

Longtime gallery owner Billy Hertz loves to sing the praises of the creative people whom surround him. The title of the next exhibition, “Five Exceptional Artists Who Happen to Be from Kentucky,” shows that. Kristina Arnold, Laurin Notheisen, Cathy Shepherd, Guinever Smith and Karen Spears are the artists in the show. “Most of the local and regional artists that we and our fellow galleries show exhibit nationally as well as their hometown,” Hertz said. The opening reception is Sunday, Feb. 18 from 1-4 p.m.
