First Annual Marcus Garvey Day Festival and Black Market Celebration

A who’s who of Louisville civil rights leaders will speak at this educational event, which doubles as a fundraiser for Self Esteem Inc., a nonprofit that provides self esteem training for girls and adult women. The lineup includes Mattie Jones, Breonna Taylor’s mother Tamika Palmer, UofL Pan-African Studies Department Chair Ricky Jones, state Sen. Gerald Neal and eight more.
