‘Fiber, Fabric And Fashion’

I’ve read that when the word fiber is used, they’re talking art (not food!). If fabric is used, it’s fashion. While I don’t wholeheartedly agree, it does work for this show. The artists in the exhibition are Wendy Cudmore, Carl DeGraaf, Brian Jones, Trish Korte, Cody Presley, Kevin Rose Schultz, Julie Schweitzer, Penny Sisto, Marylyn Whitesell and Bonnie Zimmer. Their work varies from creating wearables to wall art. Plus it’s that time of year again — other parts of the country call it spring, but we call it Derby time — when wardrobes lighten up and are just screaming for artistic accessories. The opening is Friday, April 20 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
