Local tattoo artist and rabid illustrator Steve Gatrost celebrates his first solo book, “The Elixir,’ with an art show that features the original illustrations from the book. “The Elixir” is a graphic exploration of sacrifice for loved ones. These intricate illustrations are a must-see if you appreciate comics, graphic arts and intricate illustrations. The opening release party is 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, April 14.
