If you haven’t noticed, a real ice rink has appeared in the Paristown neighborhood. It’s open for public skating daily, but on December 13 and 14, two different gangs are taking over. The first, on Friday from 8 to 9 p.m., is a gaggle of five drag queens — Gilda Wabbit, Karmen Kazzi, Bianca Nicole, Tova Ura Vitch and Breanna Burns — for the first Drag Queens on Ice. Stop by The Café for snacks and cocktails during the performance, and afterward, head to Play for free admission (if you mention that you saw the show). Then, on Saturday from 3 to 4:30 p.m., the Louisville Skating Academy presents the Nutcracker On Ice with “vocal narration, high-flying stunts, dizzying pirouettes, brilliant costumes and captivating choreography.” —Danielle Grady
