Visiting the Falls of the Ohio makes memories that last a lifetime. I don’t remember how old I was, or what grade I was in, but I still remember the school field trip decades ago to the Falls. This is a great opportunity to take the kids for Sunday fun and discover the remarkable geological jewels that are geodes. Get there early for an opportunity to look at geodes through a microscope, or (weather permitting) take a crack at cracking open some rocks and find your own crystals. You (or the kids) could discover something not soon forgotten.
