Louisville’s cooperative of modern dance creators, Moving Collective, is exploring an exciting new space as they continue to celebrate their 10th year of existence. “Deca: Celebrating a Decade of Dance” will be presented at Vault 1031, in historic Old Louisville. The intimate space will put audiences an arm’s length from the artists. Deca also marks an expanded run, as Moving Collective offers audiences three chances to catch the action. The Collaborative stalwarts like danah bella DanceWorks, Ila Conoley Paladino, Amber Marquez, Susie Thiel and Theresa Bautista will showcase new work, and true to form, Moving Collective will introduce Louisville to more voices from around the region including Katie Kasari, Amanda Browning and Megan McKinley of the WKU Dance Department. Co-producer Amanda Rollins say Moving Collective “hopes to bring another decade of dance to Louisville and the region.”
