This hackathon is aimed at confronting “data security issues faced by those who are targets of alt-right threats and violence. The focus of this event will be on alt-right groups, their activity in KY/IN and what we can do as a community to counter these efforts.” Co-hosted by Data For Democracy, Black Lives Matter Louisville, Mijente and Civic Data Alliance, the hackathon is for those who are “tech minded, or even just an organizer with some good ideas of how we can use tech to combat white supremacy.”
