Crescent Hill residents take great pride in their historic neighborhood, especially on the Fourth of July, when they gather together for two days of live music (lots of bluegrass), art, historical presentations, food and fun. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. Friday with a ceremony including the Ohio Valley Native American Veteran Warrior Society to salute service men and women, and it ends at 10 p.m. Saturday with a spectacular, full-scale fireworks show. In between is a full schedule of events with fun from concerts to baking contests, pet contests and field games. Catch a free trolley ride (from Southern Baptist Seminary parking lot on Grinstead), bring your lawn chairs or blankets and settle in for some old-fashioned neighborly fun!
