‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’

The A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack (1965) is credited with introducing jazz to millions of people, and it’s so iconic that, since 2011, it’s held a place on the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry. Musicians Pete Peterson, Bruce Morrow and Danny Kiely help you recapture the nostalgia of the 1965 television special and the magic of the album that accompanied it with a play through of the entire soundtrack in Jimmy Can’t Dance’s intimate basement venue. They’ll be accompanied by Nala Kathleen, Rick Quisol, Joe Gomez, Meghan Pund and more talented people for renditions of traditional Christmas songs before and after the main event. This four-night event costs $40 per show, except Saturday, when you can enjoy a standing performance for just $20. —Danielle Grady
