‘The Brown-Forman Nutcracker’ By The Louisville Ballet

During December, variations of “The Nutcracker” are performed worldwide. Louisville Ballet has its own version, with local references alongside the beloved characters of Marie, Fritz and the Sugar Plum Fairy. The Louisville Orchestra will perform the familiar score, conducted by Tara Simoncic, the Ballet’s first female music director. Events include a sensory-friendly performance, Sugar Plum Party and “Sweet Seats” VIP experience.  —Jo Anne Triplett
