Vintage aircraft are beautiful and interesting, no matter what they were once used for. The annual BowmanFest features over 30 military and civilian airplanes, including the classic 1918 Curtiss Jenny and a C-130 Hercules, a military transport vehicle and the largest aircraft to ever land on Bowman Field. You won’t be able to ride in those, but helicopters, a World War II Beechcraft C-45 and more will be at your disposal for a price. Also enjoy Four Roses Bourbon tastings and classes, food trucks, live music and educational speakers. And wear a hat because there are no trees. —LEO
