Welcome to “Bourbon & Blues,” an art exhibition that will be displayed at Cook Studio & Gallery just in time for the Sept. 30 FAT Friday Trolley Hop. Did I have you at bourbon? The show is celebrating National Bourbon Heritage Month with Maker’s Mark, a FAT Friday sponsor (restaurants and shops along the route will be showcasing bourbon). The artists in the exhibition are Joe Autry, Jill Baker, Jeaneen Barnhart, Laurie Blayney, Andy Cook, Derby City Custom Drums, Claudia Hammer, Orville Moss, David Schuster, Wilfred Sieg III, Damon Thompson and Debbie Welsh. The opening reception is from 6-9 p.m., with Tyrone Cotton playing the blues at 7:30 p.m. If you RSVP through the Cook Studio & Gallery website, you’ll be registered to win a gift basket of books, art and a Maker’s Mark gift.
