After reaching its fundraising goals, the Waterfront Botanical Garden is on track to break ground this year. But before this former city dump site can be transformed into an ecological haven, it needs a bit of cleaning. As part of the Mayor’s Give A Day Week of Service, join fellow volunteers to cut, trim and remove brush from the overgrown site. To participate, all you have to do sign up online and then bring a pair of work gloves and any clipping, trimming, digging and cutting tools you can carry.
