It’s a lawless bootleggers’ New Year’s Eve ball at The Monkey Wrench. Come dressed in garb harkening back to the ’20s and ’30s. Forty bucks (or $75 for a couple) gets you hors d’oeuvres, dibs at the chocolate fountain, a champagne toast and all-night access to an open bar featuring Old Fashioneds, Sazaracs, Manhattans, Mint Juleps and a slew of traditional cocktails, as well as Four Roses, Tito’s, Sailor Jerry’s premium liquors and a list of craft beers, Good Wood and Goose Island to name a few. Music of the era by the Dimestore Dandy kicks off at 8:30 p.m., with a string set by Vessel at 11:30 p.m. A cigar lounge is also happening on the rooftop patio. To keep the party comfortable, ticket sales are limited. Get yours at the Wrench ASAP.
