Whether you’re a proud herbivore or a self-hating carnivore looking to change your sinful ways, Bluegrass VegFest welcomes everyone. This event focuses on “promoting a healthy, cruelty-free, plant-based lifestyle and showcasing Kentucky’s multitude of vegan-friendly businesses.” Grand Marshall Dawne Gee will oversee the festivities as DJ Sam Sneed provides music, CirqueLouis entertains and over 15 veggie-based restaurants provide the food. Look for cooking demonstrations, live art by Karl Otto, a raffle table and plenty of vegan-friendly vendors.
