It’s always nice to donate to a good cause, especially during the winter holidays, and even more so in an economically draining year like this one. So, with this Bless the Block program, created by Change Today, Change Tomorrow to help out families in The West End, there are two ways to participate. Adopt-A Block encourages businesses and individuals to pledge money that will turn into necessities and gifts for people in need. Or, you can volunteer to be a part of a team of 10 and commit to a noon to 6 p.m. shift between Dec. 6-12 to help sort, assemble and deliver those donations and gifts.
