Black Films Matter: ‘Do the Right Thing’ and ‘Friday’

The Black Films Matter series offers four classic movies in three nights, “celebrating African-American movies and culture.” Thursday will feature Director Spike Lee’s “Do the Right Thing.” Friday night, is one of the all-time classics, “Friday,” starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. The final night, Saturday, is a double feature including award-winning film “Pariah” and 2016 Best Picture winner “La La…“ I mean “Moonlight.” Each film will be followed by a speaker, fostering discussion of these films.
