VOICES of Kentuckiana is celebrating its 25th anniversary in an unusual way — by turning the spotlight on other organizations. During its spring concert, The Center for Women and Families, UofL’s LGBT Center and Kentucky Refugee Ministries will show short presentations discussing their missions to the audience. VOICES then will follow with songs related to each organization. This use of music to underscore such serious subjects is sure to make for an uplifting, crowd-pleasing concert.
