‘Why Beethoven?’ by the
Louisville Orchestra

The Louisville Orchestra is trying to answer the question, “Why Beethoven?” Music Director and conductor Teddy Abrams ponders it even further by asking, “Why is this one composer’s work so iconic? Why do so many of his pieces have such a great and lasting impact on society?” They will be searching for the answers in their performances of Beethoven’s “Seventh Symphony” on Friday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. and Saturday, Oct. 14 at 8 p.m.
