Watch as the queens of country, drag, soul and rock ‘n’ roll battle for a good cause. This Battle of the Queens will feature over 40 local musicians (who will form four bands), each representing a distinct class of “Queenness.” Hosted by Hurricane Summers, this mock band battle will raise funds for Strive, a nonprofit that provides affordable creative wellness education and services in Louisville. The musicians involved in this event are too numerous to list here, but they include people like Brian Cronin of the Villebillies, Salena Filichia of killii killii, Carly Johnson, Jade Jolie and many more. —Ethan Smith
