Backyard Birding: Birding Beyond Binoculars
$5 members, $7 nonmembers  |  9-11 a.m.

This is a family-friendly event for birding. Bernheim educators will help you practice your birding skills without binoculars and focus on bird language and behavior. So next time you hear birds chirping in your backyard, you’ll know what’s really going on. Registration and payment are due by 4 p.m. the day prior to the start of program.

Laser Guided Star Tour
$10 members, $12 nonmembers  |  9-11:30 p.m.

Take a stroll around Lake Nevin with volunteer naturalists as they use laser pointers to help you experience the stars above. Since this is a night time event, pets and children under 8 are not allowed. Registration and payment are due by 4 p.m. the day prior to the start of program.
