It’s not as obvious as bourbon, but Kentucky was once known for its lamb industry, too. To celebrate this tradition, Proof on Main’s Chef Mike Wajda is hosting a lamb barbecue competition between cooks from Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Nashville and Indianapolis. Audience members will eat, vote on the best barbecue dish and watch demonstrations on cooking lamb fries and butchering one, too, from chefs Wajda, Ouita Michel and Jeff Fisher.
