UofL’s Hite Art Institute has partnered with the 2022 Southeast Conference of the Association for Asian Studies to present an exhibition of work by artists of Asian descent. The show, featuring contemporary art by faculty and students, ranges from personal insights to social justice concerns and creative use of materials. An example is the drawings of Jingshuo Yang, who connects the stress of the world to a search for inner tranquility by using the butterfly to represent peace.
