Arts & Culture Day

Behind every great museum there’s a great arts organization. In Louisville and Southern Indiana, it is the Arts & Cultural Attractions Council (ACA). There are some heavy hitters among the 100+ members: The Speed Art Museum, Louisville Orchestra, Kentucky Science Center, Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, Actors Theatre of Louisville, just to name a select few. The ACA is hosting an Arts & Culture Day, part of “YES! Fest — A Year of Environment and Sustainability.” It’s a good way of introducing (or reminding) us to the abundance of cultural attractions we have locally. There will be plenty of free hands-on activities and live performances, with the Kentucky Food Truck Association and Louisville Water Company nearby to keep attendees nourished.
