‘art [squared]’

Let the art guessing game begin. The Louisville Visual Art Association’s “art [squared]” features approximately 140 works by local artists, all created in an eight-inch square format and selling for $100 each. That’s the known parts; the unknown is the works are not signed on the front (they are on the back but no peeking). Open 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. through April 11, the exhibit allows the public the chance to say, “I know who did that one,” and “I want at least three!” This annual fundraiser benefits LVAA’s Children’s Fine Art Classes for art students ages 9-18. The long time after-school arts program was recognized as a finalist in last year’s National Youth Arts & Humanities Program Award.
