The Art Sanctuary has become a driving force behind our local art scene and this week they’re flinging open their doors to put the work of their resident artists on display. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Art Sanctuary is on a mission to be  “a community-oriented arts collective supporting local visual, literary and performing arts through events, promotion and education.” The Sanctuary also offers affordable 24-hour access to studios and other work spaces for artists in several different mediums. This Friday night, it will be the work of these resident artists (such as: Matt Haas, Joe Mays, Shahn Rigsby and many others) on display at “Art Sanctuary Gallery Tenant Show.” During the free community event, refreshments will be provided, and tours of the facility will be offered.
