All of you teens out there milking the end of summer for all it’s worth, Friday is your chance to binge on “Fairy Tail,” “Bamboo Blade,” “Black Butler,” “Karneval,” “Assassination Classroom,” “Cardcaptor Sakura” and other anime favorites before school is back in session. Get your cosplay self to the public library downtown for a whole day of anime screenings and discussions. There’s even a Ramen noodle cooking and eating contest, a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament, a My Little Pony trivia contest, old school video gaming, dancing and origami. Come in costume if you have one. If not, there’s a Cosplay 101 workshop with lots of tips on how to make an affordable and cool costume. Attendees must register at the library web site, which has a detailed schedule of the day so that you can choose which sessions you want to attend.
