The word fetish means both the sexual and the sacred. Photographer Mary Yates says her definition “falls somewhere in between the two.” The fetish object here is the photograph itself, imbued with the spirit of the individual and the process.” OK; just so you know, the gallery states this show contains adult subject matter and you must be 21 to enter.
