Looking for an excuse to gulp down a few bourbon slushies (that’s right, I said bourbon slushies) and walk around the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes? Well, SpringFest is just the excuse for you! An eclectic selection of over 100 vendors and artists, nonprofits, live music, tasty festival food, street art demonstrations and local dance troop performances hit the streets in Old Louisville this weekend. The Kosair Charities Kidzone will also be there with several bouncy houses, games and a dancefloor for the kiddos. And it’s for a good cause, with part of the proceeds going towards raising much needed funds to for local restoration and beautification projects. And did I mention the bourbon slushies!?
