Smorgasbord is one of the great, underutilized words of the world. For instance, Louisville offers a smorgasbord of excellent restaurants. Or, this Monday, sample a smorgasbord of Louisville’s most excellent food and beverage offerings at the 4th annual Taste of 502. In preparation for 502 Restaurant Week, several participating restaurants, breweries, distilleries and wineries will offer a smorgasbord of samplings, with a portion of the ticket-sale proceeds going to benefit YMCA Safe Place. And new this year, Dessert Row, with several of Louisville’s local dessert-makers adding a sweet side to the smorgasbord. Masters of Music will DJ throughout the night, entertaining everyone with some acoustical evening ambiance. Along with your ticket comes a free pass to tour the Maker’s Mark distillery.
