Bobby Hinkle titled this show “3/8ths” to pay homage to his third solo show at Revelry and to celebrate Revelry’s eighth anniversary. Hinkel’s compositions are fitted together perfectly using carved wood that is brilliantly textured and colored to perfection. His passion is repurposing found and discarded wood. ”Every piece of wood has lived a previous purpose and has a story enclosed within it. Just like people, wood can be exposed to various elements throughout its lifespan,” said Hinkel.
