23rd Annual African American Art Exhibition

Louisville has many reasons to thank nationally-known, famous-artist-next-door Ed Hamilton, including being a co-founder of what became the Annual African American Art Exhibition. Now in its 23rd year, it doesn’t seem to be losing any of its stature or quality. Since the 1990s, it’s been held at Actors Theatre. This year’s show has 15 local and regional artists selected by Kevin Cole, the juror for nine years. The awards ceremony and reception is on Friday, Feb. 3 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
