You don’t need me to tell you that there has been a lot of violence in the city, and the world, lately. That is why this year’s Festival of Faiths’ theme, “Sacred Wisdom: Pathways to Nonviolence,” should resonate. The festival will include music, poetry, film and art. And there will also be discussions by internationally-renowned spiritual leaders of many faiths on how their traditions, teachers and practitioners have tried to address violence and heal the wounds of those affected by it. It’s five days of festival fun, as well as self-exploration and expansion.
