20th annual Festival of Faiths

The Center for Interfaith Relations is holding the 20th annual Festival of Faiths, a five-day festival that provides a platform for faith leaders and the public to discuss religion, spirituality and meaning in the contemporary world. The festival will include music, spoken word poetry, film, theatre, photography and dialogues with internationally renowned spiritual leaders, teachers and practitioners. And to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of our local celebrity monk Thomas Merton, there will be a special screening of “Sacred Journeys and the Legacy of Thomas Merton.” The Festival will begin with an Interfaith Prayer Service at the Cathedral of the Assumption on Tuesday. So come wax philosophical and enjoy this celebration of all faiths.
