It’s officially outdoor festival season. Many feature art, such as Oldham County’s largest event, the 19th Annual Arts on the Green. The juried arts festival is sponsored by the Arts Association of Oldham County. The 130-plus artists work in various media, including fiber, glass and painting. There will be a children’s art center with free face painting and note card design, and music by Tim Curtis and Red Steel Percussion. There’s more music on Saturday’s Happy Hour at 4-5:30 p.m. by Nashville’s Michael Jacobs. The festival hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday, with free admission and parking (no pets).
