18th Annual Lebowski Fest

After 21 years of “The Big Lebowski,” you might think people would get tired of quoting and watching the Coen brothers’ classic, but after 18 years of Lebowski Fest, you’d be wrong. Ardent fans of the trippy 1998 comedy pour into Louisville every year to mingle with fellow “Achievers” (the name for Lebowski-ites). Festivities begin Friday with music from Paul & The Tall Trees as well as a soundtrack tribute by The Deloreans and a screening of “The Big Lebowski.” On Saturday, bowl all you can stomach and participate in trivia competitions, all while dressed as a favorite character. If you’re not into it, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man. —Danielle Grady
