St. Joe’s Picnic for The Kids has been going on for 166 years. Thats right, 166 years! Anything that’s been going on for that long is doing something right. Maybe it’s the fried chicken dinners, the summer picnic style games and prizes, the fact that everyone in the city will be there or maybe it’s because all the proceeds go to St. Joseph’s Children’s Home, which provides a living home for Louisville’s orphaned children. Whatever the reason, it’s certainly going to be a good time for a good cause.
